This centre comprises a large welfare project for regugees, the unemployed, the homeless and also for those just wanting to meet other people. Various courses and language lessons are offered, often free of charge. Its also possible to just drop in for a cup of coffee. The project was started a long time ago by volunteers and has since been supported by both congregations, MSC and FDNSC.
Over the years, the running of the centre as a whole has been transferred to lay people and has developed its own particular means of following the way of the H(h)eart: anyone who is generous towards others is welcome as a volunteer. It is irrelevant whether they can formulate their motivation in words. You may, perhaps, barely hear the language of the Church in this centre but the language of the heart can be clearly understood: it is found throughout the building in the manner in which people are treated: with respect, attentiveness and mercy!
